Where The Wild Things Grow Early Learning Centre
We are a play-based centre located in West Lethbridge right across from Nicholas Sheran Park. We are a small centre with a capacity of 50 children; this allows our staff to build relationships with all of the children and their families. Each day we send a daily report with photos of your child throughout the day. Parents are also sent planning and newsletters via email.

Since 1982 the Lethbridge Food Bank has been proudly operated in Lethbridge and serving the surrounding area with a “food share” program. The Food Bank is an important part of a vibrant community to ensure a food security resource for families in need. Located at 1016 2nd Ave S, the Lethbridge Food Bank provides food hampers, bread, protein and produce to individuals and families in need.
Interfaith Food Bank
Interfaith Food Bank is committed to recognizing the human dignity of those in need and providing food and access to services and resources generated from within our community.
We cater to those in various situations, ranging from single-parenthood, to seniors on fixed incomes, to the under or unemployed, or to those with other social or economic barriers. We have been providing emergency food services to citizens of Lethbridge and area since 1989. Since then, we have grown exponentially as the community recognizes, assesses and attempts to satisfy the needs of those in crisis.

The LCSA Food Bank was started in 1994 to meet the growing need of hungry students on campus. The Students’ Association is responsible for the operation and supports the Foodbank through monetary donations and food drives. The Food Bank is always looking for donations and volunteers for food drives. If you have non-perishable food or time to give, we would really appreciate it.
MyCityCare
During the Coronavirus outbreak, MyCityCare is working to provide emergency food hampers, clothing, and access to essentials such as basic household essentials and infant supplies (while supplies last)

Quest Support Services
Since 1993, Quest has been providing quality supports to people with disabilities in Southern Alberta. The LIVING Program at Quest helps develop and foster relationships within the home and community. This program collaborates with individuals, families, and community members to provide quality support to people in their own home or a shared home.
The LIVING program offers support to over 60 people in various settings which include: 1:1 complex settings, shared 24/7 staffed arrangements, and roommate companion arrangements.
DaCapo Disability Services - Community Living Services
Supports are provided to individuals in a variety of community living arrangements. Levels of support vary and are developed to build on and increase existing skill levels while maximizing independence, well-being and connection to their community.
Services are divided into independent living arrangements, contracted arrangements and respite services.
Catalyst
Catalyst is a socially innovative project to address the issue of unemployment and underemployment for marginalized groups. Employers, underemployed individuals and the community are the benefactors of our service.

Alpha House
Alpha House Society is a non-profit, charitable agency that provides safe and caring environments for individuals whose lives are affected by alcohol and other drug dependencies. The Lethbridge Stabilization Centre and Shelter provides a dedicated and tailored program to meet individuals’ unique needs under the influence of substances. The program follows a harm reduction, withdrawal management and relationship-focused model.
YWCA Harbour House
Opened in 1981, YWCA Harbour House is a 24-bed crisis unit for women and children involved in abusive intimate partner relationships. Abuse may be physical, emotional or sexual violence.
Families are provided accommodations for a maximum of 21 days, with staff available for counselling and support 24 hours-a-day. Education sessions on the impact of family violence on children, the cycle and dynamics of violence, and safety planning are available for all clients.
Wood's Homes Youth Connections: The CORE
A short term safe place to stay for youth 17 or younger: The CORE Emergency Youth Shelter is operational, but we have temporarily decreased capacity to serve 4 youth. We are currently carefully assessing any potential intakes and dealing with youth and situations on a case-by-case basis. We are working to divert shelter use if possible, by offering remote supports and essential needs to families by utilizing our FSC.

Streets Alive - P.I.N. Bank
The P.I.N. Bank (which stands for People In Need) not only supplies clothing to people in need, it provides another tool where we can get to know people.
The PIN is the workhorse of the Mission and gives our clients a much-needed sanctuary to briefly escape life on the streets and have the opportunity to relax and find clothes that not only will suit their needs but their personality as well.

Lethbridge Pregnancy Care Centre - Practical Support Services
We can help out with baby and maternity clothes and diapers/wipes/formula (as we have them available) to those who are struggling financially during these difficult times.
For those that decide to carry their pregnancy to term, there can be a lot of things you suddenly need to figure out and that can be really hard. The LPCC wants to provide support, and the clothing room is one practical way to do that.

We are a multi-practitioner private practice offering counselling services to individuals, children/youth, families, and couples. Information about other programs such as Jumpstart and Kidsport (youth only for these two) is available. Everything is by appointment only – no drop-ins please.
