Parkland Food Bank Society
The Parkland Food Bank exists to address the needs of hunger in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County, primarily by providing food to those in need.

HELPS Team Program
Spruce Grove Community Church is dedicated to helping Spruce Grove, Stony Plain, and Parkland County by providing relief during Covid-19. Our HELPS Team is in place to respond to urgent and basic needs for individuals and families within the Tri-region which include but are not limited to: subsidized grocery assistance (pick-up, delivery, gift cards), household supplies, toiletries and prescription pick-up/delivery.

We Can Food Basket Society - Stony Plain Depot
The Food Basket program participants buy a $5 annual membership to join WECAN. Memberships run annually from April to March. There are no forms to fill out, but Members must prepay for their food orders at the start of the month to stretch their food budget to the end of the month. We offer three kinds of orders: a fresh meat order for $15, a fresh produce order for $10 and complete meat and produce orders for $25. A meat order contains 2 -3 cuts of fresh meat, and a produce order consists of 3 seasonal fruits and 3 seasonal vegetables. Because WECAN purchases from a wholesale store, The Grocery People, our costs are generally significantly lower than most other grocery outlets charging retail prices.

Neighbourlink Parkland
Neighbourlink Parkland is a non-Profit ministry giving practical help to those in a crisis that live in Spruce Grove, Stony Plain and Parkland County. We are not affiliated with any government body and run completely independently. Neighbourlink assists those individuals who cannot access the usual government assistance; they have exhausted other resources and are falling through the cracks in the system. We can react immediately and offer hope to the hurting. Each situation is assessed, and help is provided in several ways. Some of the most common are financial assistance (rent/damage deposit/utilities/emergency shelter/emergency prescriptions), food/gas vouchers, medical ride program, transportation, Help Closet(toiletries/diapers/winter gear), used furniture donation program, grocery/food bank pick up/deliveries, Seniors phone support to reduce isolation.

Stony Plain FCSS provides services and supports to a range of clients including individuals, families and community organizations. We are offering by phone/online services during COVID-19.

The Today Centre

Coordinated Suicide Prevention Program (CSPP) serves Parkland County, Spruce Grove and Stony Plain. CSPP has been proactive in the area of suicide awareness & prevention since 1998.

Youth Mental Health Clinic
The Youth Mental Health Clinic is a referral based speciality clinic offering wrap-around mental health services for youth ages 11-25. Services are offered by a multidisciplinary team consisting of Physicians, a Social Worker, a Behavioural Health Consultant, a Psychologist and Community Connectors.

The Gear Program
The Gear, hosted by Stony Plain Family & Community Support Services, is a six-week program that provides youth with the opportunity to develop tangible skills and build positive relationships while working on bicycles. The program is based on a mentorship model where volunteers and staff work alongside youth to repair bikes that have been donated by the community.

Bredin Centre for Learning - Spruce Grove
COVID19 Update: To ensure everyone’s safety during the COVID-19 outbreak, Bredin staff will not be providing in-person services until further notice. However, we are still accepting new clients and our staff will continue to provide individualized services remotely through email, telephone and videoconferencing. We will be sure to update you when our offices re-open to the public.
The WorkSource program, based in Spruce Grove, offers local and rural services to assist clients in communities west of Edmonton. This program offers a Labour Market Resource Room, in Spruce Grove, which provides employment resources and support to individuals who are looking to secure employment or prepare for career transitions which lead to sustainable employment.
Rural Clients will have access to a Mobile Resource Van which will travel daily to communities with resources, along with laptops, to support job searching activities.

Early Childhood Services Program
The Early Childhood Services Program benefits children with identified needs in speech-language development, fine and gross motor skills, social-emotional/behavioural challenges, and/or a medical diagnosis.

Tri-Community Adult Learning Association
Within our communities, learners are searching for further education, but they face many challenges and barriers to access this. There are colleges, universities, and local outreach programs. TriCALA exists to serve those who feel they are unable to further their education.

Spruce Grove Goodwill Donation Centre & Thrift Store
Every year over one million Albertans shop at Goodwill, and more than 700,000 Albertans donate to Goodwill; 89.2% of all revenues go back into our mission and remains in Alberta.

The Tri Area Skating Club has programs designed to assist skaters in achieving these goals. We are a family-oriented club with programs for all ages and skill levels.

Ryu Senshi Judo Club
The Ryu Senshi Judo Club is a recognized club in good standing under the Provincial Association of Judo Alberta. Our mandate is to provide our members with an opportunity to experience and learn Judo.

Silent River Kung Fu
Silent River Kung Fu’s Connecting Beyond Project is about helping everyone stay engaged during these times of forced isolation by providing the resources necessary to stay connected while maintaining social isolation.
