Family Residence - Toronto Emergency Shelter
Family Residence is a short term shelter that offers case management and referrals to community agencies, children and youth programs, assistance in finding housing and workshops about housing readiness, life skills and employment.

Ernestine’s Women’s Shelter
Ernestine’s provides a roof over your head, a bed, necessities, counselling and other supportive services that are free and confidential if you are fleeing an abusive relationship.

PAARC - Addiction Support Housing
PAARC works with Supportive Housing in Peel to provide housing and support for clients with substance abuse issues and who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and need stable housing with support.

St. Clare Inn - Transitional Housing
St. Clare Inn is a transitional housing project that offers accommodation to homeless women between the ages of 30-60 who are struggling with a diagnosed mental health issue.

Woodgreen Community Housing
We address the housing affordability problem by helping people and families looking for a safe, affordable place to call home. We assist with rental building searches, help with subsidized housing applications, advocate and negotiate on behalf of tenants, prevent evictions, and refer people to emergency shelters in crises.
Food Services

North York Harvest Food Bank
North York Harvest Food Bank is the primary food bank for northern Toronto, distributing over 2.3 million pounds of food donations last year through 77 community food banks and programs. We believe in dignified food access, empowering individuals and strengthening communities.

Daily Bread Food Bank
We are now distributing food hampers, rather than our standard shopping model, to community members. The food bank will continue to operate on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The Stop Community Food Centre
We will continue to provide essential food access services to our community in an adjusted form: The Stop’s Food Bank will run Mondays and Fridays, 12 pm-3 pm, we will serve takeaway meals on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 9 am-10 am for breakfast, 12 pm-1 pm for lunch.

Vita Centre - Supper Connection
Supper Connection is a parenting and life skills program offered in 12-week sessions, three times a year in various locations in Peel Region. This program provides you with information regarding food security, health and nutrition while encouraging positive parenting and life skills.

Fight4Freedom exists to be an active voice and advocate of justice for women and men victimized by human trafficking in the form of sexual exploitation and further assist them in finding necessary support systems that will aid in their journey to safety, healing and restoration.

The Peel Addiction Assessment And Referral Centre
We serve people concerned with their own or someone else’s involvement with alcohol, drugs or problem gambling. We provide comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, case management, referrals, education, and individual and group counselling tailored to meet your individual needs.

Supervised Consumption Site
SCS is an entry point to treatment and social services for people ready to stop or reduce their use of substances. They do not provide their own drugs or substances.

Polycultural - Crisis Counselling
Polycultural provides short-term counselling services for children, youth, and adults at no cost.

The 519 is doing everything it can to continue to respond to the urgent and immediate needs of our most vulnerable communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. As the access to the community spaces is limited right now, the centre is offering communities a friendly phone or email check-in.

Glad Day - Emergency Survival Fund
Many queer and trans people rely on revenue that can’t be traced back to an employer, so employment insurance will not help us through the pandemic. Given that both Glad Day and the people we serve are faced with an immediate crisis, we want to create a fund that supports Glad Day and the people we serve.
